Our beloved Marilyn Fowler, Founder of WIN celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday October 30th ( Birthday on October 28th ) at Granada Hills Recreation Center Park. I could not join for her birthday on October 30th at the park but the following week, Afsaneh, one of the founders of ICWIN ( Iranian Circle of WIN ) and I went to visit her. We were to go to visit her with chocolate and flowers but Chris her son told us she loves – still loves books! The joy in her eyes seeing six books was amazing. She sent her love to everyone.
